25) 6 Dec - My Christmas layout for 2009 is Abbotsea Gardens and the build blog page for Abbotsea has been added today. Several recent updateshad also been made to the Canute build page. The other significant updatecompleted today is that the format of the railways page has been revised and it now forms a much better gateway to the railway related content on the site than it did formerly. The final main change for today is that the autobiographical content about me which had been on the railways gateway page has now been saved as a separated page. Not impacting on the structure a global update was also run to change the text label for some of the hyperlinks internal to the site.
24) 2 Nov - There have been numerous small tweaks over the past few weeks but none were noteworthy enough to report here. However visitors should now note the new page about the loco conversion (Canute) and also that several new albums have been added recently into my associated fotopic site.
23) 8 June - Further progress made with the review of the site content (As announced in update 19) because like Topsy parts have just growed! Today's main change was the complete rebuild of the combined links page with links moved into more logical blocks. additional links added, full spell check plus a full check that all the links from the page remain live. Further update to the Pebbles End diorama.
23) 24 Jul - The website was down due to a technical fault with the hosting server at our ISP for which they, and us, apologise. - Webmaster.
22) 21 May - Further update to the Pebbles End diorama.
21) 14 May - Further amendments to the text of the original 2007 Card Challenge project which has now been now renamed as Workshop Yard (layout work in progress) and the Pebbles End diorama pages to reflect current status of both these projects. New page of photographs of Pebbles End added. My fotopic albums also updated. Also brought up to date is the text on the Railway Introduction page.
20) 17 Mar - further amendments to the text of the 2007 Card Challenge and Pebbles End diorama pages to reflect current status of both these projects.The Classic Train Set page also updated to reflect current status of the layout with regard to the exhibition circuit. The combined links page has also had recent changes as listed therein.
19) Mid Feb.. thro' 5 Mar - minor updates to text across the site including updates to the card modelling section as the Russell kit is now on sale via the WHHR Shop and is supporting restoration/running of the real locomotive. Two updates to the combined links page plus a full check that the links remained live and a minor update to Railways into' page. I also updated Keith Hunt's fotopic site for him covering the card modelling kit for Russell. Over the coming weeks page content will be reviewed and the site navigation links amended, please bear with me during this site rebuilding phase and my apologies for any broken links during the reconstruction period.
18) 5 Jan 09. As this is the first update of 2009 - Wishing all visitors to the site a Happy New Year. Christmas layout blog 2008 further updated with additional artwork reporting on progress over the New Year break and a link to an album of final images. Navigation modified on a handful of pages. Updates to the lectures / talks page and to my list of photographic displays. Also apologies for the outage of some externally hosted images since Friday 2nd Jan, this was due to problems with servers at the external fotopic site, now fixed. Earlier updates revised at 18:30pm.
All earlier update content deleted 8 June 2009. NB Update numbering was restarted as at 1 Jan 2008.
