6 Jan - Christmas / New Year mesage taken down as it is now 12th Night. Updated message added on the relevant photo gallery pages.

12 Dec - Due to a very busy year with managing the other websites I'm responsible for, several big family occasions, plus a college training course, the issue of the lost Fotopic galleries was put on the back burner in the in the hope that the rescue package the original developer of Fotopic had announced would actually materialise. Given the length of time since the collapse, and no further, definitive, announcements on that proposal, I am no longer expecting that the Pikfu "easy fix" opportunity will be acheivable. As I have all the origonal material new galleries will therefore be introduced when I have the free time to do the programming and rewrite all the captions!
10 Mar - For some time my fotopic hosted albums (See listing) have been subject to intermittent outages. On 9th March 2011 the externally hosted Fotopic albums again disappeared completely and they are still down today. It is fault effecting all fotopic clients, not just my albums, and user feedback on internet fora is not giving a positive message they will come back quickly. Therefore it is not yet known if this is a short term technical glitch or whether the hosting company has regrettably become another victim of the recession. If it should be the latter there will be a time gap before I have time to either build album software into this site or transfer the material to a new provider.
3 Feb - We are sorry for the unavailability of the site for approximately 6 hours today. Our ISP has advised this was due to a cyber attack on their servers causing them to crash."....... a DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack against our network................"
27Jan - Full site review commenced starting with updates to the My talks/film shows section. New show added in January 2011 - Over the Alps.

13 Jun - Updates to both the My talks/film shows and the My photographic collections page. The latter includes several recent updates in the Fotopic Galleries section. The Railways of Weymouth & Portland page also updated.
